The Event

Inspired by Shakespeare's 'refugee' speech, 'Whither Would You Go?' harnesses the power of storytelling & William Shakespeare to raise urgently needed funds for refugees worldwide.  All proceeds go to the UN Refugee Agency, UNHCR.

We pair scenes from Shakespeare with modern-day refugee stories read by a one-night-only, never-to-be-repeated company of actors.  The show incorporates live theatre, video stories, projection & an original score.

Our inaugural event took place in March 2017 in Los Angeles.  Further events are planned for London, New York & Sydney.

Purpose

Purpose

Storytelling remains one of mankind's most powerful tools & Shakespeare is the playwright of compassion.  He is a friend to the dispossessed and a scourge to those who inflict cruelty.  Most importantly, he highlights our shared humanity.  With the refugee crisis growing around the world, it is time to act.
